Nesto 4 Axis Pro CNC Woodworking Machine can perform many operations such as auger, pattern, roving, evisceration, marking and mounting hole, as well as all turning operations. All axes are driven by servo motors. It provides precise acceleration with high speed. High quality and high precision rails, trolleys and ball screws are used to affect the axis movements with minimum vibration. We use the DIRECT DRIVE system on the C axis in order not to experience any power and measurement loss.
General Features and Production Capabilities
Four-axis production for furniture components
Turning, indexed machining and profiling can be combined for chair, table, sofa and armchair legs, balusters, columns and similar solid-wood components.
Ø360 × 1,200 mm working capacity
The working envelope supports long and large-section furniture components while keeping the part between controlled references.
Servo axes and direct-drive rotation
Panasonic servo motors manage the linear axes; the 5 kW direct-drive workpiece axis reaches 4,500 rpm and supports repeatable angular positioning.
Rigid chassis and precision motion
A reinforced, vibration-resistant structure works with precision guides, carriages and drive components to maintain stable motion through repeated cycles.
Fast workpiece-length setup
The workpiece reference can be adjusted from the control panel without a wrench or screw adjustment; pneumatic clamping operates at 7 bar.
TPA industrial control workflow
The Windows-based TPA system brings axis control, job sequencing, production reports, 3D preview and secure remote service access into one operator interface.
Automatic preparation for repeatable machining
Central automatic lubrication protects the motion system, while automatic tool measurement records the active tool reference before machining.

Standard Main Equipment
TPA industrial CNC control
Windows-based control with EtherCAT communication, production reporting, 3D preview and remote connection.
Pegasus 4-Axis CAD/CAM workflow
Parts can be designed, reviewed and simulated in 3D before the machining program is generated for production.
Three cutting units
Hardened triangular, cup and top blades cover detailed profiling, roughing and longitudinal shaping operations.
Hertz high-speed spindle
The 5.5–6 kW spindle reaches 24,000 rpm and uses ceramic bearings, air cooling and automatic tool change.
Five-position tool magazine
Five holders keep the required machining tools ready for automatic changes within the program.
ILC central automatic lubrication
The lubrication system distributes oil automatically to support the precision motion components during production.
Automatic tool measurement
The active tool reference is measured before machining to support consistent digital setup and tool changes.

Frequently asked questions
Which parts can the 4-Axis Pro CNC Wood Lathe produce?
It is designed for chair, table, sofa and armchair legs, balusters, columns and similar solid-wood components that require turning, indexed machining, longitudinal shaping, milling or drilling within the Ø360 × 1,200 mm working envelope. Final suitability is evaluated from the drawing, raw stock and required operations.
What is the maximum workpiece capacity and rotation speed?
The standard capacity is up to 360 mm in diameter and 1,200 mm in length (14.17 × 47.24 in). The 5 kW direct-drive workpiece axis reaches 4,500 rpm. The operating speed is selected according to the wood species, stock balance, diameter, profile and tooling.
What does the standard five-tool system include?
The standard arrangement combines hardened triangular, cup and top blades with a 5.5–6 kW Hertz spindle that reaches 24,000 rpm and a five-position automatic tool magazine. It supports roughing, detailed turning, shaping, milling and drilling with fewer manual changes.
What do the TPA control and Pegasus CAD/CAM provide?
The Windows-based TPA control brings axis management, job sequencing, production reports, 3D preview and remote service access into one interface. Pegasus 4-Axis CAD/CAM supports 3D preparation, simulation and machining-program generation before production.
How are tool measurement, lubrication and workpiece setup managed?
Automatic tool measurement records the active tool reference before machining, and ILC central lubrication supports the precision motion components. Workpiece length is set from the control panel without a wrench or screw adjustment, while the pneumatic clamping system operates at 7 bar.
What are the machine dimensions, installed power and weight?
The machine measures 3,870 × 2,450 × 2,150 mm (152.36 × 96.46 × 84.65 in), has 20 kW total installed power and weighs 3,250 kg (7,165 lb). The installation plan should also allow space for service access, extraction and material handling.
Which data should be shared for a production evaluation?
Share the part drawing or 3D model, wood species, raw-stock dimensions, finished geometry, required turning, milling, drilling or sanding operations, target daily quantity and surface-quality expectation. These inputs also help determine whether oscillating sanding, the Hiteco ISO30 spindle, automatic loading, the aluminium top blade or Pegasus Plus is appropriate.
